PRODUCTION WEB APPLICATION

Description of the project

As GPS receiver manufacturer we have a lot of GPS receivers to test during production to guarantee the quality of our products. The testing of all those receivers generates ‘log’ files. These log files are parsed, and the results are saved into a database for traceability and yield monitoring. A dynamic web interface presents the database contents allowing us to compare the different log files.

Your responsibilities

Your task will be to improve the usability of this web interface (more features, solve bugs) and make the look and feel more attractive. You also will be fine tuning of the log file parsing. Improvement of the dynamic web application presenting the results of the log files will also be a responsibility. The dynamic web application is a Python Django project, using Docker for deployment and CI/CD.

You are a Computer Science student or equivalent.

You have knowledge of Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.

Optional: 

You have experience with Linux, SQL, Tcl, Docker and Django is a plus.
